What haircut should I get?

Hi

I want to get a haircut but I'm not sure what kind of a haircut i want. I have long brown hair with a copper tint that reaches mid-back. It's not really that wavy but it's not completely straight either. I think its somewhere in between. The thickness is medium and I have a good amount of volume in my hair. I don't want to cut my hair short but I want to change the style because what I have now is a regular straight across cut. I have a light complexion if that makes any difference.

Please let me know what haircut would suit me best. Bangs are welcome. Pictures would be awesome because I would need to take a picture to the stylist so that she can try to copy it.

Well, Start off simple and easy. Get some layers put in and if you are willing, get some side bangs. Dont go to over the top though because You will be in MAJOR shock!!!!

well i don't have a pic but what about a Reese witherspoon style like she had at the Oscars i probably misspelled her name but she was in that legally blonde movie... anyway cute side bangs and layers maybe a few inches of the bottom i wouldn't go to short people pay lots of money for hair extensions to have what you got anyway you can google her name and pictures i would also she what your favorite celeb wears or look at some magazines to get some ideas good luck

p.s. i always have the same problem...so i add some layers

I got hair cut yesterday. and so the style that i got was that it was long at the and like kinda short/medium at the top and layered...i also got side swept bangs. well now my hair is all thin at the bottom and i dont really like it...im thinking of straightining it everytime i go out but im wooried about my hair to get thinner! what should i do?? BTW my hair is naturally straight. is the re a way where i cna make it not look as this and get it to be thicker??

Well layering your hair means making it look thinner. So if you choose to layer it, you choose this fate, but the only way to get it truly thicker is to let it grow out.

You're hair won't get thinner if you don't do anything to it. But straightening it will make it look thinner.

If your hair is loose and flies everywhere because it is so thin at the bottom, use some sleeking and shinning hair products because the oils and grease will weight your hair down and keep it from flying.

Happened to me too last year. Now, my hair is fine. Just wait it out. Try different hair styles for now.

cool!! have a thick and long fringe... u'll be able to style and play with different cool hairstyles... waxed it.. spray.. set! short hair can be easy to manage but it might take skills to get it styled.. :D however.. a change is good!

If your hair is naturally straight but thick layers are the way to go. (I have naturally curly and thick hair so it won't work) Bangs would be perfect as well. Type in lily allen on google images, try her hair style only with layers.

if i was you i would trim it down a bit you know to get rid of some of the poof and it might help to get one of these brushes below to make it look flatter too and go to your local drug store to get pomade

Need a haircut, lowlight color, and style!?

My hair is four inches below the shoulder, and a medium blonde with a few different shades. I would like lowlight my hair a bit, but I'm not sure what color! Nothing too dark and strange.

I just got my hair trimmed a bit to give a sidebangs look, but otherwise it looks no different. when I get my hair re-cut and maybe lowlighted, I need a style! I don't want to go too short. Any pictures, sites, or ideas?

I also get bored with my hair looking the same every day. I really want to have some difference. Any cute styles for middle-schooler that take not much time and don't require heat?

try layers! and if u like a wavy look, braid hair when u get out of the shower and unbraid it when its dry. low pigtails w/ bangs down, half ponytail, high ponytail. all quick and easy!

Well if your a boy gell and spike it. If your a girl you could straighten it,chrunch it, braid it, curl it, curl it and put it up in a pony tail, and maybe just in a bun.

Well without getting it cut to even it out, the only thing I could suggest is wearing it in a pony tail until you decide what to do with it. I know that always works for me.

try a nice whispy side-bang. I had the same problem and even though full straight bangs are no good for round cheeks, a nice soft side bang is sophisticated and cute.... just make sure your hair keeps a bit of volume also... get it cut in layers... u keep the length but since there are shorter layers in it, the hair falls nicely around your face
