im a guy ,17 years old and im looking for a new hairstyle, and im thinking of a messy style, but im not sure because i have thick hair and i dont know how to cut it or maintaine it so it wont be poofy, should i go to a barber shop or a hair salon, could i get a razor cut, and what style is good for short or medium thick hair plz help!!

Definitely go to the salon and just tell them what you are looking to have as the end result. They can razor cut it like you said and texturize it so that it suits you.
