i do have a narrow forehead and round cheeks and i am wondering what other hairstyles i can try, i have a medium long hair that i don't want to cut any shorter.

try a nice whispy side-bang. I had the same problem and even though full straight bangs are no good for round cheeks, a nice soft side bang is sophisticated and cute.... just make sure your hair keeps a bit of volume also... get it cut in layers... u keep the length but since there are shorter layers in it, the hair falls nicely around your face

Step 1: Divide your fringe into two sections - the top section (towards the crown) and the bottom section, (at the beginning of the hairline). Clip back the top section and take the lower portion, pulling it straight down towards your eyes. Snip away with scissors, tilted upwards at a 45 degree angle, till you reach the desired length.

Step 2: Take the same section of hair and do point cutting. Hold your scissors tilted sharply with the points towards your hairline, and snipping to give it a wispy look. If you choose not to do this, it will just be a straight-cut fringe.

Step 3: Unclip the top section of your hair and repeat steps 1 and 2. Maintenance: Trim every two weeks. Hair generally grows around 3cm to 6cm a week. Some people need a month, some just two weeks.

Quick Tip: When using any hair product, spread it out on your palm - not on your fingers - before smoothing it onto your hair.

A Long Fringe

Step 1: Make sure your hair is dry; wet hair is longer and your fringe may not look the way you want it after you've cut it when wet. Section your fringe into two or three sections from the crown to your hairline, depending on how thick you want your fringe to be. Comb your hair down towards the chin.

Step 2: Cut the fringe in a slight curve - not snipping in a straight line across your face, but leaving it slightly longer towards the sides, and just a little shorter towards the nose. Take your time and cut small sections at a time.

Step 3: When you get the style you want, then point cut the fringe to give a softer look, one that has more movement.

Maintenance: For long fringe, trim every three months or more.

A Full Fringe

Step 1: When your fringe is semi-dry, pull it towards you gently. Ben warns you not to pull it taut, or else you might risk your fringe being shorter than you had expected.

Step 2: Part it section by section and do a blunt cut, straight across the forehead.

Maintenance: It really depends on how fast your hair grows. Cut it when it gets uncomfortable.

Quick Tip: If you have natural curls, blow them out straight before trimming them.

different lengths, yes. as the goes down (down to the ear possibly) leave it longer. the hair where you start diving your hair is the shortest. just make it go diagonal. hope it helped

im getting my hair cut tomorrow and i cant seem to find a picture of what i want. i want to keep the length medium-long, some layers and some kind of bangs. my face is oval shaped and i want a hair style easy to straighten but still looks good when its wavy. i like the "scene" hairstyles but i dress preppy. helpp! pictures would be great!

hmm...maybe you should thin it out and get straight across bangs that are choppy and also get a lot of layers. maybe if you want to dye it weave in some blonde and brownish colors.

Hollister Interview?

Okay so on the 10th i have a group interview at Hollister Co.

And I've read alot on here saying they only hire a certian "type", is that true?

Second, heres what i look like!

Im about 5'3, im not fat but not skinny (maybe like a size 8-10 depending on the cut of jeans) I have medium length blonde hair and big boobs(i hate them) anyway, what are my chances of getting a job there if the whole "type" thing is true!!!

And Lastly, Im going to school full-time, do you think a place like this would be agood place to work while im in college full time! i know they probally pay only min wage, but all i have to pay for is my cell phone bill?

please serious answers only, none of those comments, about why would you want to work there, or there nothing but stuck up!

I've been working at Hollister for the past 9 months, and I'm certainly nothing amazing, but I'm not hideous either. LoL! If you're fun and outgoing then you have a good shot. They need people who have flexible schedules and are loud enough to talk to customers over the music. A few pointers though - Hollister doesn't sell black, so don't wear black to the interview. Only have natural, if any, makeup on and no flashy jewelry. Remember to smile and you'll do fine!

As for the hours, when I was in school I worked 4 hours every other week, so if you just want a job for the heck of it. Try it out!

Second of what i heard u look like maybe but i caant guarentee it because i did not c a pix of you. And lastly i think you should work there for a couple of months and if its too much for you to handle then you have to find another job.

okay I'm gonna be straight up honest, no modesty or hiding facts... but I wanna know if theres something about me that guys don't like.

I'm sixteen years old.

I'm 5'8[%26amp;1/2 or so] and I weigh a lot, we won't go into how much, but I don't look fat, just kinda big.

I have light brown eyes [and contacts, no glasses] and dark reddish brown hair thats cut short with bangs going over half my face, medium skin, and I've been told a very nice face. I also have great legs =]

I'm very smart, one of the smartest people at school. Im very sarcastic, but not necessarily mean. I can be shy at times, and I guess I seem a little standoffish at first, but once you get to know me I'm really fun.

Ok, you are talking their talk, walking their walk you get along with them so well that you are "one of them". Show up in a cute dress, hair pulled up, a little make-up and nice heels, they will flip....may not even recognize you. Sometimes, we intimidate those around us when we fit in too well also. I would say you are at a better place anyway, you are still young need to focus on life and studies./...be friends because the healthiest relationship has to start as friends. You do sound pretty and you have the personality, give it time...it will all fall into place....one day you will see the guy next to you....your best friend may become the man you spend your life with and you will be much more successful and happy because of all this "friend time". When you are sitting there on the front porch swing watching the grandchildren play in the front yard, you will laugh at how love and forever happiness was always right there next to you it just took a long time to see and appreciate it. The reasons for never getting asked out almost never are directly related to your looks, unless they're grotesque. The burned girl, or the one in a wheelchair, may not get asked out for that reason, but the girl who's being honest when she says she just looks big should look elsewhere for answers.

My best guess is the shy-standoffish-sarcastic trifecta. Any one of those can make it hard for maybe-interested guys to talk to you, and a little scary to try. So maybe work on being more approachable.

Also, it helps a lot if you're in activities where you're working side by side with guys. Whether it's school, church, political volunteerism, or a job, that gets you out there. Even if the guy who's your friend isn't interested, he's probably got friends.

when you first start talking to guys, they probably think you're really fun and want to be great friends with you because you're so good at talking to them in a nonflirtatious way. i'm a 16 year old girl and i've had my share of boyfriends and i met them all at very random places. ie. camp, parties, football games, etc. you don't even have to have a crush on them at first, but you have to show interest. try to add some more femininity to yourself either by the way you dress or do your hair/makeup, whatever. having a boyfriend or being asked out can really have nothign to do with looks. my best friend is really pretty and she has never had a boyfriend. so don't worry!
