Tomorrow i am getting a haircut.. I NEED HELP!!!?

Tomorrow i am getting my hair cut and i like short, layered, scene hair a little longer than my chin.. I am also getting blonde highlights but i have no clue... I AM SCARED!!!!!!!!! i have seen pictures of people who have gotten blonde highlights and they looked TERRIBLE!!!!!!! please help!!!! i have medium brown hair... THanks....

just make her make the highlights a little thinner, and

tell her "i dont want skunk highlights"

when people tell me that, i always know what they're talking about... you know when theyre chunky and seperated all wierd. and it LOOKS like they got highlights.

if theyre thinner highlights, have fun with it and get it as light a blonde as you want it.

okay i seee where ur coming from....my best freind is the same as u and she got blonde highlights and they looked BAD because they were tooooo blonde.... so make sure not to get it too light get a dark blonde

Blonde might be a bit excessive, maybe you might consider some blonde highlights mixed with a couple light brown highlights. Talk to your stylist. Go in with an open mind and ask her what she thinks would work best for you.

The hair cut sounds super cute. I'm sure the highlights will be fine. If they come out too blonde, don't leave the salon in tears...ask if she could tone them for you. The salon should be more than willing to help you out.

It should be fine. Just easy on the highlights. Do not, under any circumstance, get the really really white ones. My two best friends both have light brown hair (like you and me). We decided to each get dif. color highlights. I got copper, one got goldish/honeyish, and the other, ugh, got the white blonde. I'd say gold turned out best. Mine wound up blending it too much so I gave up on that. Try a dark blonde. I know copper/ honey works too.
