I want to cut my hair but I have no idea how I should get it cut.?

Ok, well I have dark brown hair and I am going to get some small red highlights but I want to change my hair cut. I have longish hair and I would like to keep it in the medium range. If you have any suggestions, please help me.

Also, any pictures or urls would be great.

Well, i have a really old computer so I cant check out your images but my email is posted so i can send you some pics that way, but the cut really will depend on your hair type here are some Questions:

curly or straight?

Thick or thin?

reality check-will a style really look good/work on you. for example, your want a thin, straight flippy sort of style and you have thick curly hair that doesn't straighten well with a flat iron(straightener). Its not really realistic for the examples hair type.

The second one is nice but unless you have naturally super-straight hair it'll take time to style often. The first is easiest if you don't have the time or patience to style every morning but it would still look good.
